Luis Calandre | Director of Creative Campus
Luis Calandre holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from UAM and a PhD in Audiovisual Communication from UCM. He has served as Professor of Strategy and Organisation at UCM, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication at Universidad Europea, Vice President of Education at the Faculty of Creative Industries at the University of Shanghai, and Chief Academic Officer at UDIT.
Following a career in the media and entertainment industry across more than 20 countries, he has spent the last fifteen years driving higher education in the fields of creative economy and design. He has led the creation of the University of Shanghai’s largest faculty dedicated to creative industries and the accreditation of Spain’s first university specialised in design. His research focuses on the economic impact of the creative industries.


Vice Dean of Digital Design
Marta del Valle Canencia
Marta del Valle Canencia is currently Deputy Director of the Digital Design area at Creative Campus and a lecturer in 3D animation for the Video Games and Animation degrees at Universidad Europea de Madrid. She is Vice President of the national Association of Women in the Animation Industry (MIA) and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Alcalá, researching body language and movement applied to 3D animation.
She completed a Master’s degree in 3D Character Animation at U-TAD and holds a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. She has worked internationally in design and animation, including projects in India (Vastu Shilpa Foundation + CEPT University), as well as video games such as Die Young and Runner Heroes, and short films, series and feature films including Wonder Park and Snow Queen.

Vice Dean / Deputy Director of the Fashion area
Marta de la Rocha Fernández-Jardón
Marta de la Rocha Fernández-Jardón holds a PhD in Political Science and Sociology (UCM). She is a lecturer and researcher, holds a Fine Arts degree from UCM and a Diploma in Fashion Design from IADE. She teaches Drawing I and II on the Fashion Design and Creation degree.
Her research focuses on Visual Thinking as a scientific tool. She is the author and co-author of scientific and educational publications and articles, as well as an illustrator. She has participated in conferences and academic presentations. She previously taught in the Education department at UCM, worked as a collaborating lecturer at UOC, and has also worked as an art therapist at Fundación Recal.

Vice Dean of Interior and Product Design
Alberto Galindo
Alberto Galindo Muñoz is Deputy Director and lecturer at Creative Campus, Universidad Europea. He holds a PhD in Architecture from Universidad Europea and currently teaches first-year subjects on the Design degree.
He previously served as Director of the PBS (Project Based School) Office and Head of the Academic Model (2020–23), Coordinator of Final Degree Projects and Master’s Final Projects (2013–16), and Coordinator of Professional Internships (2009–16). Since 2004, he has also taught across the School of Architecture, Engineering and Design in the fields of Architecture, Design, Civil Engineering and Video Games. In addition, he was Director and lecturer on several courses at Fundación COAM between 2007 and 2014.

Vice Dean of the Design and Management area
Rosario Gómez de Merodio Perea
Rosario Gómez de Merodio Perea is an Industrial Engineer, holds a Master’s degree in Education and ICT, and a PhD in Molecular Modelling from Universidad Europea de Madrid. As Vice Dean of the Design and Management area at Creative Campus, Universidad Europea, she drives academic innovation projects and the development of the creative ecosystem.
She has held a wide range of university management roles, including master’s programme director, degree coordinator, and leader of digital transformation initiatives through Online Teaching at Creative Campus. Her teaching and research focus on educational innovation and sustainability applied to engineering and design, connecting students with real-world challenges in the creative and technology sectors.

Director of the Online Department
Esther Campos Serrulla
Esther Campos Serrulla is Director of the Online Department at Creative Campus. She holds a cum laude PhD in Design, Manufacturing and Industrial Project Management, as well as a degree in Industrial Design Engineering from UPV. She combines extensive experience in university management — directing master’s programmes and driving academic improvement initiatives — with a strong focus on educational innovation and neuroscience applied to design.
She collaborates with ISAD (Mexico), is part of the Coordination Committee for the International Systems and Design conferences, and serves as reviewer and Editorial Committee member for the journal Ingenio. She is also an Ad Honorem member of the External Evaluation Committee of the Design Research Institute at the University of Palermo (Argentina).
