What you’ll learn each semester

1

First Semester

During the first semester, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the workings of the fashion industry, from its culture to its strategic business management. You’ll lay the groundwork in history, business models, leadership and digital transformation, combining theory and practice to gain a deeper understanding of the industry.

  • You’ll discover the history of fashion from a sociological and anthropological perspective, understanding its influence on society as well as current and future trends.
  • You’ll understand the fashion business ecosystem by analysing different business models, from emerging brands to large international groups.
  • You’ll learn key business management tools, addressing aspects of finance, law and leadership, along with the logistics and operations of the industry.
  • You’ll work strategically in retail, pricing, buying and collection development, combining creativity and profitability.
  • You’ll immerse yourself in the digital transformation, learning about e-commerce, omni-channel marketing, UX/UI and digital marketing, thus integrating current technology into your business model.

Second Semester

In the second semester, you’ll reinforce your knowledge with a practical and strategic approach. You’ll delve into marketing, sustainability and innovation, and work on your final master’s project, applying what you’ve learnt in a real project or a research paper with a vision of the future.

  • You’ll study marketing and communication strategies specific to fashion and luxury brands, understanding consumer behaviour and the impact of social media on brand building.
  • You’ll learn to apply business models based on sustainability, circular economy and business ethics, understanding how to balance profitability with social and environmental impact.
  • You’ll improve your creative and analytical skills through innovative projects, integrating artificial intelligence and big data into design, production and decision-making processes.
  • You’ll work on your Final Master’s Project, applying a strategic, cross-cutting vision of the industry, with the support of your teachers, in order to create a real impact on the industry.
