Project description

Design of a series of ecological awareness posters that aim to reflect on the relationship between nature, technology, and human impact on the environment. Through a contemporary visual language, the posters seek to evoke an emotional response in the viewer and raise awareness about the need to protect natural ecosystems. The compositions combine natural elements, images of animals, and landscapes with visual resources linked to the digital and technological world. This combination creates a conceptual tension between the natural and the artificial, inviting the audience to question the systems of production, consumption, and transformation of the environment. Each poster uses visual metaphors and brief messages to convey ideas related to sustainability, biodiversity, and collective responsibility in the face of the environmental crisis.

Creative tools

For the development of the project, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite was primarily used, employing different programs depending on the phase of the process:

  • Adobe Photoshop: editing, manipulation, and composition of photographs.
  • Adobe Illustrator: creation of graphic elements, typography, and vectors.
  • Adobe InDesign (or Photoshop, depending on the case): final layout of the poster.

The images used come from stock libraries and royalty-free photographs, which were later modified and reinterpreted using digital editing techniques.

Creative process

The creative process began with a phase of visual and conceptual research on impactful social posters and environmental awareness campaigns. From this research, the main concepts that structure each piece were defined.

Next, photographs related to nature, animals, and the natural environment were sourced and selected. These images were digitally manipulated using techniques such as photomontage, layer blending, color adjustment, and texture effects, resulting in more expressive visual compositions.

Finally, typography was incorporated as a narrative element, using short phrases to reinforce the poster’s core message. The combination of image and text aims to capture the viewer’s attention and convey the message in a direct and visually striking way.
