The Master's Degree in Fashion Marketing and Communication will help you to develop specialised fashion skills related to marketing, branding, communication, retail, product, PR and digital fashion. You’ll learn to design innovative communication strategies applied to product collections, fashion brands, communication campaigns and events.
You’ll also gain both an artistic and entrepreneurial perspective, essential not only for learning about the way business works in the textiles ecosystem, but also to obtain a highly specialised vision in terms of brands and designers.
You’ll also learn and apply new offline and online marketing strategies in any structure of the fashion market, in order to develop skills and flexible tools in thinking and taking action around the current and future context of fashion.
First Semester
Fashion Ecosystem and Business
Historical, social, artistic and cultural trends that have most influenced the history of fashion in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as the main current and future fashion market structures.
Fashion Consumer Behaviour
Consumer needs, thoughts and behaviours in offline and online shopping are becoming increasingly important for fashion brands, requiring the design of effective strategies that enhance brand value, profitability and consumer loyalty.
Product in the Different Structures of the Fashion Market
Strategic perspective of product behaviour on catwalks, individual brands, commercial brands and business groups, used to conceptualise and plan a textile collection, incorporating innovative technological and digital transformation tools applied to the value chain of a collection.
Business and Fashion
Different business models in the fashion market, how they work and how they are managed, as well as new business models based on sustainability and CSR.
Second Semester
Fashion Branding
Techniques of fashion brand positioning and repositioning, as well as their artistic direction. Technical foundations of styling fashion campaigns.
Communication and Management of Fashion Channels
Key concepts and methods related to a communication strategy in the fashion market, as well as the management of conventional and non-conventional advertising channels. Planning fashion-related events, including their management, control and scheduling. Designing a social media plan for fashion brands.
Fashion Retail
Strategically planning the internal and external layout of a point of sale. Designing experiences related to Neurobranding at the point of sale. KPI analysis related to profitability at the point of sale. Defining the importance of customer experience.
Digital Marketing and Fashion Innovation
Impact of digital fashion today. Digital marketing and advertising campaigns in fashion. Emerging technologies applied in all areas related to the product, logistics, communication and points of sale of a commercial fashion brand.
